Homey Patterns of Bade
The work is a visualization of collective communities stories. We invited participants to share impressive and meaningful stories of their daily lives, and choosing significant features and objects into patterns making.Through the whole processes, people visualized the beauty of their lives and transformed them into series narrative cloth patterns, which with soft touch and as well as represent stories of their home in Bade, Taoyuan.

KUAN JUNG CHEN concerns about lifestyle of urban dwellers. She started project “ Memos for My Next Home” since 2016,and applied floor plan drawing, cooking and narrative pattern printing to exchange memories and imagination with various communities.
YING WANG is a Taiwanese illustrator. Her works are mostly focused on food, plants, and humans.She transforms her observation and research into a series of reportage illustrations, aiming to raise more public awareness of certain issues.
