The House of a Thousand Layers

The House of a Thousand Layers

Recycled industrial materials are employed to reconnect with the site to demonstrate the possibility and aesthetics of recycled materials in everyday life.

Through stacking materials, distinctive structure is formed. Such device that is both empty and present visually preserves its continuity in the public space. It appears to be a solid architecture when standing still; nevertheless, it can alter the posture in space owing to some push by the external force, so as to offer audience a novel experience of public space.
