Moon Rabbit
Moon Rabbit
The legend of Chang-e and Jade Rabbit enchanted and inspired me to make the work, Moon Rabbit. The moon rabbit is leaning against the bunker, day-dreaming and thinking about life and dreaming the impossible possibility and creating its own true stories.
This work invites everybody to get together and dream together and to jointly spend a period of beautiful time under the beautiful moonlight.
Material:Tyvek, wood, Polystyrene

FLORENTIJN HOFMAN
荷蘭 Netherlands
Florentijn Hofman was born in 1977 in the Netherlands. He is known for his series of large-scale sculpture works of the yellow rubber ducks, touring the waters of many countries around the world and recalling the memories of innocence in everybody's childhood. Rubber duck first came to Taiwan in 2013 for participating in the first Taoyuan Land Art Festival. Most of Hofman's creations are animalcules close to us and he always uses local materials and re-present them in large scales to attract audiences and call on the people to pay more attention to environment, peace and love.
