Among them, Qingtang Garden, located near Taoyuan High-Speed Rail Station in Zhongli, exudes a charming allure. The Qingtang Garden Ecological Park features unique wetland landscapes and water scenes, nurturing a rich variety of flora and fauna, including the Red-crowned Crane and Taiwanese Water Plantain. In 2017, it played a dazzling role in the Taiwan Lantern Festival.
The White Egret is a common bird species in Taiwan's natural environment and a good companion during the farming seasons. Taoyuan, as the nation's youngest city, is brimming with energy. Therefore, this artwork combines the imagery of the White Egret and a young boy, symbolizing the concept of soaring and hope in Taoyuan. It imparts a fresh and vibrant humanistic scenery to the city.
