HappyFrogther

Taking the wild species in Taoyuan as the inspiration, the artist selected the emerald tree frog with affinity and lively posture as the theme to create a large-scale sculpture of up to 600 cm. The penetrating white iron bar texture, like bubbles in the air, blends in with the surrounding colors and creates a surreal image impact and feeling. The tree frog is placed beside the adjustment pool of Zhongzhuang, just as it is ready to jump into the pool.

Born in Kaohsiung, he is good at using the simple welding method of iron bars, outlining lines and frames, forming iron bars with various geometric figures, and performing linear deconstruction of second- and third-dimensional spaces, so that rigid iron bars seem to be transformed into neat, Smooth lines. Based on sculpture, through the labor of the body and the perception of visual experience, the ordinary objects and consciousness in life are depicted with linear elements. The works are both rigid and soft. The original three-dimensional objects are deconstructed and reorganized through subtraction, and the theme frame is preserved. and contours, providing viewers with a new visual experience with installation works full of penetrability and extension.
