Labyrinth of Annual Rings
This work echoes the previous work, and also combines the business philosophy of ecological exploration, environmental observation, and all-age sharing of Shanzhu Lake Ecological Water Park. Therefore, based on the concept of strip design, and from the direction of co-creation with the teachers and students of Daxi Elementary School, the widest grassland in the Boar Lake Park will be used as a co-created playground.
This work takes annual rings as the creative theme. The annual rings of the tree record the point on this planet where it took root, the environment it once had, the climate state at every moment, and the various situations encountered in this life - abundance and damage . The process of co-creation of works also includes the stories, experiences and ideas of each co-creator in the works.
The plan of this work consists of three levels. The large-scale "Annual Ring Mystery Palace" creates a playground for children and adults to traverse through it; The ribbons are arranged on the grass, allowing people to sit or lie down in nature; "Annual Rings • Home Wine" was conducted through the participation of Daxi elementary school students, using natural materials in the park, such as leaves, stones, branches, etc. Aesthetic collage of annual rings. The fusion of man and nature flows in this work space through various levels.
