Nature's Mountain Playground

Nature's Mountain Playground

This work is conceived from the children's playground in Daxi Riverside Park. There are rich geology, mountain forests, natural ecology, wetlands, parks, trails, etc. on both sides of Dahan River. I hope that people can have more imagination about the playground.

Artist Pasulange Druluan is an aborigines of the Rukai people in Taitung. He recalls his own experience. Although he grew up in the city, he went back to his tribe's hometown for vacation when he was a child. Spend the night in a cave in the mountain wall and cook the loot you catch.

This work transforms the memories of childhood adventures in the mountains into a mountain playground in the city, creating the image of a cave, presenting the environment of playing in the mountains as a child, using the design of space height, or standing or squatting, or walking or climbing , or lie down or sit, let adults and children use various postures of their own bodies to play and shuttle through it. If you are tired from playing, you can rest on the spot and enjoy a moment of tranquility.
