Sa'owac is the meaning of canyon and stream in the Amis language. The gathered tribes take the meaning of living by the water. They migrated from the original hometown of Hualien Xiuguluan River to the bank of Dahan River in Taoyuan, preserving the wisdom of the Amis culture. , and named himself the Sauvage tribe.

This work is conceived in the shape of the traditional fish sheng of the Amis people, which symbolizes the migration process of the Sauvage tribe living by the water. Hualien came to Daxi, Taoyuan to settle down. After the demolition crisis, the joint efforts of the tribe, and the communication with the outside world, the tribal subjectivity that is valued today is achieved.
