In the first album "Talk About the Past/Farewell Without Saying Goodbye", two teachers, Lin Qiuli and Xiong Meiling, composed the song "I'm from the South" tailor-made for these two girls from southern Taiwan. The lyrics reveal the meaning of finding love in a bustling city. The perseverance and sobriety that dreamers retain has also become the origin of the name of the Southern Duo. The emergence of the South has injected a breath of fresh air into the prosperous and impetuous pop music scene.
